Team-up knowledge on ecological restoration to maximize benefits for nature and people
PROJECT SUMMARY
TEAM#UP aims to expand the existing extensive knowledge and skills in the field of ecological restoration to fill gaps in green vocational education and training. For this purpose, TEAM#UP will jointly establish four Centres of Vocational Excellence covering different areas of ecological restoration: multifunctional and sustainable land use in agricultural systems (Germany), restoration of old infrastructure, ecological compensation and landscaping (Norway), restoration across urban and rural landscapes (Czech Republic), and forest restoration and disaster risk management (Spain). Through the cooperation between vocational schools, university and research institutions, and sectoral partners, four vocational curricula and open educational resources on ecological restoration will be developed. Educational resources will be made available in a multilingual platform.
